We just got back from our Chattanooga trip and David had started roofing his house in Eden Prairie. So we spent a couple days helping with that big job. Click here to see what was happening at our house while we were helping at Dave's.

Time for a break! Some of them stayed up top for everything, even taking the phone and a radio up to it's perch on the chimney. (Oh yes, they did come down to eat.) And they beat the rain.

Hannah just off the bus after school.

Since Dave was on the roof, Mom Sarah had come from work to help with homework; but first: a short trip to the rope swing. Hannah seems to be loving life lately!

Finally, after a few days of prep, the shingles are going on. (And yes, we watched the precarious step ladder.) Friend Todd also was a big help; and Garth & Hannah, where they could. But some were absent when the photographer was there. Also, it's only "yesterday" - we think 19 or 20 years ago, we had this done when we lived there ...
