Day 4 - Wednesday, February 4
We both woke up early today. Roger went jogging while Theresa rested; saw the sun rise over a low cloud bank; extremely calm.
======
To backtrack a little bit, this is Theresa. I have been just exhausted and have not taken a very active part in creating this tour diary.
Today we are in beautiful Ocho Rios, Jamaica; and it is the first time I have been off the ship.... to find little grandkid souvenirs... only for an hour or so. It has been hard to keep up with all six in our party today, so tonight's dinner will be the first time we will have all been together today. It is slated as " Caribbean/Mardi Gras night and we are to come in appropriate colors for more photos.
Roger, Jim and Diane climbed Dunne Falls and also went snorkeling (they saw small fish of every color except red) on a tri-maran. I happened to take their photo when they returned. The noise sounded like a bunch of 20 year olds with arm waving and Caribbean music. They had a high old time.
While on board by myself, I scoot around the big ship by myself, and also am reading an autobiography of Jimmy Carter. This is one of my interests: autobiographies. I am pretty much a non political, non-gender specific reader. He is a remarkable man. Worked very hard on the peanut farm and had many little black friends, more so than his actual cousins.
If you look for us on the web cam tonight it is us in the coral shirt and and Roger has a basically white Hawaiian shirt with coral and green flowers. OK he says we won't put this on till later.
Roger & Theresa just finished shopping - taken by a fellow shopper.
Roger returning to the ship in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
At dinner, Jim & Roger, had 4 desserts - oh well, we didn't do this to be dieting.
