Doug & Melissa's Wedding

On a beautiful Summer August day, we traveled "up North" to a small, friendly little town for Doug & Melissa's wedding in Grey Eagle, Minnesota.

At the altar of bride's church. Two beloved priests officiated.

Doug and Melissa at the reception, in love and lovely! Beautiful dress.

Pretty wedding cake with head table in background. Some of the cake had raspberry filling.

Pain be hanged. I'm inaugurating the brand new knee - just over 5 weeks post op.

Charlotte and Frank ; Theresa and Roger all celebrating life with a dance. Frank has a new knee too!

Roger visiting with father of the groom: good ol' Al. What a guy... faithful and caring to Connie during all of her very long illness. After 4 years alone, we are all trying to play cupid now. Any takers?

Roger nabbed brothers Pat and Ronnie with Theresa. Lucky girl!

Sunday morning breakfast: Behind table: Lindsey, Pete, twins Chase, Chanda & Mother Rhonda.

Left side of table: Chuck, (Whatsamatter, you are always smiling: not now??) Theresa, Pat, Mike, Frank. Other side: Chuck wife Karen, Roger, Pat's wife Shirley, Mike's wife Juanita, Charlotte. (Some of you are camera shy/hiding...) Right after that, the rest arrived. See below.

Connie's family: Left side: Sidney, baby daughter of Connie's daughter Mickey, then husband Phil and other daughter Cameron.  Right side of table: Al, then mom of Phil, then Doug and Melissa. (Staying in town until February Florida honeymoon.)

Roger taking it easy in Dave's cabin.

Entrance to Dave's cabin (about 10 miles north of Theresa's brother's Rich.

Two cabin scenes on a rainy Sunday. Not fancy, but fun.
