Kathy is 40
On September 17, our daughter, our middle child, turned 40. There was a surprise birthday party on the following Sunday, put on by her husband Cam. There were family festivities on the "real" day; plus her husband took her out to a romantic dinner and had arranged for roses at the table! (We have no photos of that last event.)

Gag gift from father-in-law Dick and wife Gladie: a cane, complete with horn ("get outta my way!"), rear view mirror, and a shawl for total effect. What is THAT! I was taught that life BEGINS at forty!

Celebrating their 12th anniversary on the same day: son Dave & lovely wife Sarah. Where does the time go! I still remember our own 12th anniversary. No kidding.
