Pop's Birthday & Bleess Reunion

On July 1 & 2, we traveled to Blue Earth to celebrate Pop's 89th birthday with Roger's siblings. Saturday we attended the Bleess Reunion, all descendants of Theresa's grandfather & grandmother.

Marlys & Pop on their front stoop. Not seen are many pretty flowers adorning the whole front of the house.

Roger, his brother Jim & wife Diane, our frequent Blue Earth hosts

Bleess reunion preparation. It was an "indoor picnic", pot luck with many types of delicious food. Better yet was the opportunity to connect with cousins from afar. Thanks Barbara, Ruth, Mary Ann,  and others, for the work involved.

Cousins talking. In the background: Ruth, Chuck and Karen. Forward in bright red & orange are brother Mike and cousin Donald, born on the same day, same year, same town, as Theresa.

Adam (Jerry's son) & Lane (Duane's son). They met in Sacramento, while in service! The grandfathers of these two were brothers (Francis and Louis).

Cousins, including George facing to right, and his sister,  Mary Ann.

Aunt Helen, Karen, Chuck, Una, Sandy. Helen was the oldest there, having just had her 90th birthday. Somehow we missed the other elder's picture: Dorothea who will soon be 90.Both are looking very well!
