GNU Sings in Faribault at Fesler-Lambert Performing Arts Center Performance
The chorus Roger sings with, the Great Northern Union, was invited to sing in Faribault at the Fesler-Lambert Performance Arts Center on the Campus of Shattuck-St. Mary's School (built in 1858) In a beautiful very old intimate auditorium called Newhall Auditorium. Enjoy the pictures taken by our son, Dan.

We shared the stage with the Happiness Emporium, 1975 International Quartet Champions. The 2 end men are active members of the chorus.

And, of course, Dan had to get a picture of his father. After all, he was using my camera. (I'm the one with the green tie.)

GNU Sings for the Minnesota Twins
Each year the GNU invites singers from the upper midwest to join them in singing the national anthem(s) for a Minnesota Twins game. This year we did that Tuesday evening, June 26. Members of 13 different chapters joined us including members from as far away as Winnepeg. All toll, we had about 200 singers on the field singing both the Star Spangled Banner and O Canada since the Twins played the Toronto Blue Jays. Oh, by the way, the Twins won in 12 innings. See & hear the performance by clicking here.
And everybody in my family attended the game. See 4th picture.

Each spring Roger's chorus puts on a concert with the professional group, Cantus. This year the concert was in St. Olaf's Catholic Church in downtown Minneapolis on June 9.

The Madison Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society invited the Great Northern Union to be their guests and sing on their annual show. This past weekend GNU traveled to Madison, sang 2 shows at 2:00 and 7:30, sang on their afterglow, and then on Sunday morning sang a local church service. Below are some pictures of the event.
