Paris, France
We came back through Paris on our way home from Strasbourg, France. Only spent the evening there (although we did find time to walk through the Louvre museum again). Finally, our flight back to Minneapolis, after the terrible hijacking disaster of September 11, was smooth and on time.
Our lovely hotel room In Paris on the last night before departing for home.It had a lovely little balcony and from it you could see the cathedral: Sacre Cour.
Sacre Cour: this was a few miles away.It is a super zoom"shot so it is a bit blurry.
Ronnie & Roger with the most pleasant and cute receptionist in this hotel! She was very cute and it was interesting to see a young woman with cafe-au-lait skin and beautiful sculpted corn row hair witha charming French accent. Unfortunately the photo does not do her justice.
Our Iceland Air plane. We are recommending them to everyone. MUCH less expensive,and very nice service. And the layover in Iceland was convenient. Not a busy terminal, and just long enough to stretch our legs. That route gave us photo opportunities also for icebergs, etc.
All of us back on solid ground in Minneapolis. The whole plane full of passengers applauded when the pilot got us home safely.
