Day 6 - Friday, February 6

Roger up early as usual; went jogging; but due to Cozumel being quite a bit west of Miami (ship's time), dawn wasn't even hinting. And the jogging track only had 2 people on it: Roger & one other person.

Theresa was not even aware that he had gone.

Had a leisurely breakfast with Jim & Diane while the ship was docking in Cozumel - no tenders required. Then immediately after breakfast, we went ashore and found our snorkeling group right on the pier.

Went snorkeling right out from shore. Jim said it was the best ever. Saw lots of fish and very large schools of fish... course, it helped that our guide went down and fed them. The coral, however, was quite sparse and not very colorful. We also saw several scuba divers who were on the bottom photographing both coral and fish. The bottom was about 10 to 15 feet deep.

After snorkeling, we went to find a place to get tacos for lunch. Taco shop was closed, so we had Mexican burgers at Burger King. While at that shopping center, we visited a great big Mexican store like a Super Target - Jim wanted to see the power and HVAC distribution systems. Then we went on tour of the Island of Cozumel - about 50 miles around.

Roger was sun burnt this morning. And this evening after another day of snorkeling, he's quite red and crispy.

Theresa stayed on the boat and I'll let her tell of her escapades... This evening, Theresa's a little seasick... want to keep it "a little". not going to write tonight... (TM) although wheelchair accessible, it was not at all practical to get a scooter on a taxi so I stayed on the ship. Read and slept.

Delicious dinner this evening - lobster. Evening's entertainment was an enjoyable 69 year old comedian. And as usual, we went to bed early.
