Bleess Holiday Gathering
The Bleess clan gathers for a pot luck meal on most Christmas seasons and frequently at Joe & Linda's home in Long Prairie. Enjoy these pictures taken on a cold Sunday, January 4, 2004.
From the stairway looking into the recently renovated living room of Joe and Linda, complete with new hardwood floors and other nice things. (This is the home in which Linda grew up.) As always, there was a huge, beautifully decorated live Christmas tree. People circulated between there and the dining room as well as the large heated garage. We just had a family wedding a month prior, so some did not come from afar this time, making for a smaller crowd than normal. (Roger is at the far end near the tree.)
Brother Mark and brother Ron checking out a tractor in the oversize heated garage at Joe's. They are both real tractor enthusiasts. Want a discussion of green versus red tractors?? Ask them!!! Joe is a car fan, and I believe you see a classic behind them.
A card game in the garage: Beloved Brothers Mike with plaid shirt, then Pete; then our son Dave, Mike's grandson Derek, and his dad Jay. Who won?
Theresa's "little twin" brothers Jerry on the left, and Joe with their youngest grandsons.
In the dining room, "almost youngest" Sister Rhonda in the long hair (one of few siblings with young kids still at home) and super sister-in-law Rona, Theresa, then hidden, special sister-in-law Juanita (not fond of having her photos taken) and her daughter Tamra. In the far background, you can see through the kitchen to a part of the crowd in the living room.
Same room, this time we see Juanita (wearing a chic new Christmas hat) and Tamra; also sister in law Allette, herself also a good hostess. Unfortunately we began the photo taking after some key relatives had left for the day.
