Dear family and friends,

This year, let us begin by thanking you for being in our lives. Life is infinitely richer by allowing us to have the gift of you!

We have been blessed with many good things in 2005: we had five special trips with many memories. You can go through the many pages of our family web site (listed below, along with our other stats.) and see what we have been doing since we got our first digital camera in 2001, including this year's journeys to the Mexican Riviera, Rhode Island, Salt Lake City, Disney - Florida/Caribbean, and the Canadian Rockies.  It is very hard to choose the 'best', because each place usually seems like the best, while we are there! But those Canadian Rockies are possibly the favorite. We are married 45 years this year, and really celebrated big, with all of this. How lucky we are to live to enjoy it. (Medical things: a bit of an issue, but under control!)

Having pretty much "broken the bank" on all of the above, we will dispense with the winter trip this year, and try to get caught up on a few extra house duties. This seems like a good idea once in awhile, don't you think!  

The "kids" and grandkids are all well, still in the same schools; they are all growing into fine young people, (they are nearly 14, and 12, 11, 8) all with their own preferences and personalities; and Grandma and Grandpa love to be with them.  Our own "kids", still live in their same homes, making all of us in the same Minneapolis Metro, and life is good. We know how lucky we are.
