Bleess Christmas @ Joe & Linda's

On Sunday, December 18, Theresa's family of origin met again, as they often do, to celebrate Christmas, at brother Joe and wife, Linda's, home in central Minnesota.

Before the meal, enjoying a little humor around the kitchen dessert table: left to right, Joe & Linda's daughter Heather, our son Dave, Theresa's sister Rhonda, Joe, and his "hairless" twin, Jerry.  Who is behind Jerry? Maybe Joe's son, Austin.

In the dining room: Linda, then brother Rich's wife, Karen, Sister, Frani, and Jerry's wife, Sandy.

Also in the kitchen, finishing up the dessert table: Joe with his back to camera, Heather, Dave, Rhonda again, then J & L's son Aron and his wife Connie, Jerry, and Linda.

After dinner in the dining room, Frani asking our grandson Garth and his dad Dave about the girls at school.

Frani found a "quiet" corner to talk to brother Brian in Washington. He spoke in Russian to Rhonda's Russian exchange student! (She says he really does speak it!)

In the living room, at the card table is the Russian student (sorry: I do not know her name), then J & L's daughter Lacey in the long blond straight hair (back to camera), also with back showing is Rhonda's son Chase; at the end of the table sister Gina. Other side of table: Rhonda's daughter Chelsea, and boyfriend. In the chair is Heather's husband, Jeff. On the couch is J & L's son Austin in gold sweater; Heather also on sofa. Her little son Gabriel and T's brother, Rich.

Back in kitchen, sister Ginger at edge of photo; Aron in doorway,  Austin, Karen Dave and his daughter Hannah.

The future governor, Austin, proud Auntie Theresa, future "first lady", Beth, and Auntie Karen.

"Governor" and "first lady" are T's future claim for them; but first, Austin is running at the personal invitation of House Speaker, Mr. Steve Svuiggum, for representative to the Legislature! Austin just completed an internship for first Lady Laura Bush in Washington.  He will graduate from Bethel College in the spring. What a guy. And to think we can say that we knew him when he was just a little newborn from Long Prairie. (And just for the record, brother Mark turned down this honor... but we are all ready to do our little parts to campaign for future great things. How proud the deceased grandparents must be, because the rest of us are.)
