Connor's 15th Birthday

Connor didn't want to have a big birthday party. So a few of his friends & relatives gathered at Kathy & Cam's for cake. Pictures wer taken with my phone, so they're not as sharp as some.

What a beautiful cake & table.

Mom & Dad gave Connor a new bike.

Kyla - Stages Camp Performance

Kyla attended a weeklong stages camp culminating in a performance with a large troop of an long hour musical entitled, "Tribute to Broadway"... most enjoyable. In the performance, Kyla played a number of different parts.

Nolan, Denise, & Randy @ Mall of America

On a Tuesday morning while relaxing at home, I got a call from my niece, Denise, inviting me to lunch with her family at the Mall of America. So here are pictures of Denise, Randy, & their 2 year old son, Nolan. The pictures were taken with my phone - so they're not as sharp as others.

Hannah's All School Spring Choral Concert

Music filled the Colonial Church in Eden Prairie when all the choral groups from EPHS performed.

Hannah stands in the front row of the Varsity Choir. She's on the director's left shoulder.

At the end of the program, alumni are invited up to sing also. Since Dave sang in the EPHS choir when he was in school, he was invited to join them.

Dave's Surgery

You probably remember that David had a motorcycle accident last July and broke his wrist. At that time they put a screw in it. Well, since then, the screw came loose and he was having lots of pain. So yesterday he was in surgery again and they fixed his loose screw.

His first "waiting" spot. He just had his vitals checked.

Here Dave waits to be wheeled into surgery.

Easter Sunday & Hannah's Birthday & Kyla's Birthday

With Easter early this year, we celebrated with a family gathering for Hannah & Kyla's birthday that were April 1st & March 27th, respectively.

Kathy & Cam hosted the family gathering. Here mother & daughter are discussing a recipe.

Kyla prepared the deviled eggs. Mmm... they were good. Here she puts on the finishing touches.

The cake.

Cam's cookin' hamburgers. They were delicious.

The 4 grandchildren spent lots of time in front of the TV, as usual.

Hannah & Kyla are waiting to blow out each of their candles.

Hannah's Choral Concert

On a lovely early spring evening, grand-daughter Hannah invited me to her high school choral concert. They sang beautifully. And afterwards we went out for pie. (Yum-yum.)

Bleess Family Christmas

On a bright Sunday when the roads were not very good, Mark & Rona hosted a wonderful Christmas celebration for all the Bleess kids. Some couldn't make - mostly because of bad roads. However, attendees were rewarded with lots of good conversation and great food.

And I forgot my camera, so I'm waiting for pictures from Rona. And I received Rona's camera chip, but it contained no pictures. So, you'll just have to take our words for it - we had a great time.

Garth's 17th Birthday

On a cold Monday evening, we all gathered to celebrate Garth's birthday. He was born on (Super Bowl) Sunday 17 years ago. Below are pictures of our celebration.

Garth opened his presents to find a book on his favorite subject, Psychology,... and some money for him to buy a gift of his choosing - provided he tells Grandpa what he bought.

We initially reconnoitered in my Family Room.

Our banquet was celebrated in the dining room with a menu of pizza. (Dawn created this composite photo (which included the photographer) from several we took - nice job.)

No big cake for Garth, just a macaroon and a candle. Happy Birthday, Garth. And may you have many, many more.
