Blue Earth Class of '57 Reunion

Theresa was on the Reunion Committee and we both attended meetings and helped with organization duties. So when the reunion occurred in late September, I attended for both of us, even though I didn't graduate from Blue Earth.

As the lone widower attending the banquet, I was asked to light a candle in remembrance of all 14 deceased classmates.

About 1/2 the graduating class attended the lovely banquet held at the American Legion. A delicious meal was served. About 100 attended of which 46 were classmates. Jim Simser acted as MC for the evening's festivities. I tried to get around to everyone who had visited or sent cards/messages to Theresa in her last months. Everyone thanked me for coming.

Jim Simser kept the evening moving and told a couple of humorous stories.

A class meeting was held to decide on the next reunion. Vice President Arlen Klatt chaired the meeting since President Allen Henke was deceased.

This is the class picture that I took with all classmates standing proudly.
