These were taken from our plane either going to or coming from Salt Lake City.

Minneapolis, less than a minute after take-off.

This is our neighborhood. Check out the tiny less than quarter-mile square of homes immediately to the northeast of the lake. 

Preparing for landing in Salt Lake, the colors in the water are various stages of settling ponds in order to harvest salt and brine shrimp. 

The city itself. Those mountains to the east are the last of the Rockies: Wasatch range, I think.
