Pictures: People

Conventions are an opportunity to see many "old" friends and make new ones.

Visiting with the new Barbershop Harmony Society CEO Ed Watson, who sang with Roger in the San Diego chorus, years ago. Also pictured are old friends Gene Rague, and Bob House, also of San Diego. Roger, with his back to us, is  in red, white and blue, since this was July 4th.

Old friend from Ohio, Chuck Watson (previous Society President, and long time Contest Administrator with Roger), with Theresa, in the Wasatch Mountains on the way to Sundance. (Please do not miss the Sundance photos elsewhere.)

Roger and Chuck at the best meal we had all week. It was at the "Homestead", in the town of Midway, in the mountains not far from Sundance. If you get there, do not miss it. Excellent food, ambiance, and efficient service.

Roger, Gene and Sharon at Park City. This is the famous ski area; and the little town is beautiful, quaint, and appealing to any tourist with rich tastes, (or not.)

At the Great Salt Lake, Roger, Gene, and Sharon. Looking incredibly good. Guess how old he is!!  Some guys are not even standing at this age, let alone, going on tours. :-)  Really, Gene, you do look GOOD. Sharon too; but then, she is still a spring chicken.

Roger at the Kennicott copper mine. What a stupendous feat of engineering! Don't miss it when you go west.

Here's Roger waiting for the Salt Lake City train for a 4 (long) block ride to the Conference Center.

In our Hotel room in Salt Lake City, Larry & Joan (and Theresa) checking our Email for word on her parents.

Joan and Larry and Roger using the street crossing flag near our hotel in Salt Lake City.

At the Salt Lake City Mormon Conference Center, with the great LDS Temple in the background: Joan, Roger, Larry.

Also at the same courtyard, facing another direction: Roger, Theresa, Joan, Larry. Long time cousins and friends.
